1. How is the college/university system in the U.S. different from the college/university system in          Indonesia?
2. Which one do you prefer to decide on your major early in your college year or later?
3. What major will you choose for college and why?
4. What do you think can be improved from the college/university system in Indonesia?


Answers:

1. In U.S. , the college students spent their first two years of study to learn a wide variety of classes in different subjects in order to achieve a foundation. After that they will continue to focus or to choose a major on their third year of study. However in Indonesia, the students have to choose their major at the beginning of the year of study. so they will learn it along the period of the study.

2. At the beginning of the year, because choose a major. At the beginning of college, it would be easy to understand the lessons. And if the example, choose a major later. it would be a long time(you) learn the lessons.

3. Because we think in economic and business faculty we get double science. Here we can be auditor company, public accountant, bank employees, or we can work in the finance ministry. if we cant gets jobs we can entrepreneurship which can create jobs.

4. We think, Indonesia college/university can improved system with in the first two years of study can take a wide variety of classes in different subject like literature, science, arts, history, etc. But i think Indonesia college/university system already good. so, in the first year we already study appropriate our major, so we have the basic about our major. And we must choose the major in the beginning, so we just focus one major.

E : Mine is Suga.

M : I love them all actually, but my ultimate bias is Jungkook.

E : Oh, have you heard about they’re invited to AMA to perform?

M : Of course! You know what? I’m so excited.

E : Sure, I’m proud of them and I’m proud to be army.

M : Yash, you’re right! I’m proud of them. Look! oh my god I can’t breath.

M: Yes, i guess. How about you?

E: No, because i want to save money  for travelling with my family.

M: Oh i see.  So, is it your next goal?

E: Exactly.

M: Wow,  Good idea! So,What’s your favorite travelling?

E: Kuala Lumpur is my favorite, because there’re lot of places ti visit like Twin Tower, Batu Caves, Genting Highland.

M: That’s great.

E: How about you?

M: My favorite is in Lombok. It has beautiful sceneries.

E: Wow, i want to visit Lombok with my group one day. They’re Angelica Aurelia, Angelica ellen, Clarence, Erika, Maxillian, Sella, Shinta, Stella, and Vita.Do you have tips?

M: Bring Camera but it’s an optional. Bring swimming suit, as we know that Lombok has beautiful scenry under the sea, so it’s a must to do snorkeling if we visit Lombok. You won’t regret it.

E: Oh i see, thank you for the tips.

M: you’re welcome.

E: It’s 5 o’clock now, i have another plan.

M: okay, let’s go back to gome.

Welcome back to my blog.
 I hope you all never tired or bored of reading my blog.
So, now i will tell you about my traveling experience.
So check this out😊


Everyone of course want to take a vacation. Why is vocation important? For me vacation is important because we can visit various places, forget about temporary jobs and can enjoy life by relaxing and enjoying the scenery. I want to share my traveling experience, that is a vacation to Malaysia.

So, my vacation to Malaysia during the first semester of junior high school. *So I slightly forgot the placed visited*. And it was my first time holiday, first time holiday abroad and without parents. I went with my grandmothers and my cousins. And that's also the first time i know my cousins haha.

So, We go to Kuching first by bus, we are a few days in kuching because there is family living there. After that we went to Penang by plane then to genting highland by passing penang bridge by bus.At genting highland is famous for its first world and we stay there. first world in is famous for having indoor and outdoor theme park, casino, mall, and also there is snow world.so on the first world we split with parents, they are shopping. while me and my cousin, trying all the rides of the game. We buy tickets for outdoor and indoor rides because it is cheaper and free to try any rides.

The first day we tried the indoor rides, and very many rides. like roller coaster, etc. We also go to Snow world, there we can play snow, go into the igloo house, play ice slides, etc. There we are also on loan coat. Next day, i went to cable car and skyway. and the scenery is very beautiful, the air is also very fresh. because it is still morning. after climbing the skyway, I met my cousin to continue the outdoor game. we boarded a roller coaster, a superman roller coaster, a tornado, a kora-kora, etc. After from the Genting, we headed to Kuala Lumpur. here are many places we visit. like Petronas twin towers, Chinatown, Batu Caves, The Kings place, etc.

Batu Caves is a place of Hindu worship. we will be greeted with views of lord Murugan statue, pigeons, and many stairs. to get to the cave we have to climb many stairs and we will meet monkeys and trees. after inside the cave, we still have to climb some stairs to some places. oh yeah, i have experience when in Batu Caves. By that time, I had reached the cave, but I wanted to go down, so I was alone down while holding a can of drink. when I came down, there was a monkey who took my drink and I was surprised. because the monkeys were wild there so I was a little scared. and at that moment I spontaneously shouted in surprise. after that I quickly get off and try to get close to other visitors. haha


So.. that all i can share experiece about my traveling. Sorry, i can't share give many photos, because at that time, i do not like to take pictures * and i regret not much to take photos especially when in Genting 😢😭😭 *. Bye-byee... see ya♡

Everyone must have a friend. Because we are social beings who cann't live alone.Friends are the ones closest to us. Why? because since in adolescence, we certainly spend more time with friends than in the parents, the way with friends, telling even more certainly to friends. Especially if it's your best friend. sometimes your best friend is the most knowledgeable about you and most often the place to tell a variety of things. such as school, home, your crush or boyfriend *haha😆😆*, know your good and bad nature, always remind you of bad deeds.Why we need best friend? because they laugh at the same stupid things we do, they give us honest advice, they will be there for us even if they're thousands of miles away. Because they celebrate with us when we're at our best, but still love us at our worst.

I known them since primary school, when i was class 5. Actually i known them when at the time of course. I forgot how we can be friends. But i think because we talked about something, then we became friends. And when junior high school, it turns out we are classmates up to 3 years. and we are always the same. break together, go home together, sometimes they come to me on Saturday (because we do not have school and sometimes there are activities, and because my house is nearest school). the three of us home is also close. 

We also have the same ideals of being a doctor. but by the time of Senior high school, we were separated from school. Katherin in Immanuel Billingual Class Senior High School majoring science , Betsy in Immanuel Senior high school majoring in social science, and i am in Immanuel Vocational High School majoring in accounting. and also our school building is split, our duties are so many, so we rarely meet. oh yes, from the three of us, only katherin who can realize his goal to become a doctor.we sometimes meet if there is a birthday, chinese new year, and if there is an appointment (this often cencelled). 
And now we will be less likely to meet and communicate as we have different collage. Katherin lecturing in ukrida majored in medicines, Betsy at Bunda Mulia Univercity (UBM) majoring in hospitality and tourism and I am in tanjungpura university. actually i almost go to UBM, but my parents do not allow me to study outside city. But sometimes if there is time sure we will chat each other, and usually katherin call me. But when they comeback, we will have a plan to hangouts.

10 gag is my group name when in vocational high school. because given 10GAG, means that our group of ten people are Angelica Aurelia called Aau, Angelica Ellen Milenia called Aem, Clarence Charista, Erika hristie, me, Maxilian Anthonio, Sella, Stella Indriani, Shinta,and Vita Melani. When grade 10, we totaled 7 there are me, Aem, Aau, Stella, Erika, Sella,and Vita. We can be 1 group, because our seats 1 row and famous for excited and noisy. 

Then in 11th grade, added clarence, because we're in the same class. in grade 11, vita and sella are not classmates with us, then in grade 12, we became classmate and added shinta and maxi. We are always together at rest, before go home always gathering in the lobby, doing homework together(especially accounting cycle, MYOB,etc). 

We are notoriously noisy and excited, but we still maintain our values and respect the teachers. because we think the best times are in high school, and enjoy your teenage years with your friends. Of course, sometimes our naughtiness, there are teachers who do not like. But we can prove that our friendship is not always there when we happy, but when our friends are sad we also share in their grief, we don't leave them. And also, certainly in this group sometimes there is a problem, not maybe 10 people have the same opinion. but we are trying to improve ourselves.

I have known angelica since elementary school but we start close at grade 3 junior high school. And we are getting closer because we are both vocational high schools. And we are always together. during 3 years in vocational school, we are always in the same class. and other friends always say we are a team. where there is a Ervi, there is also Aem. we were afraid, if we split the class, and fortunately we were always in the same class. But unfortunately, we split up college. he was studying in widya dharma, while I was in Tanjungpura University. 

To me, he is the closest friend to me. because we're always together, and he's always been my story's friend. know when we are sad and happy, know the problems faced, always there when time happy and sad. become a crazy friend, hangout friend, eatmate, only he knows all the secrets,friend who likes to send derp photo, we like to talk stupid thing, telling about boy, crush, boyfriend, boyband korea (actually i most like to talk this thing and make him like boyband like super junior and bts hehe😆😆😅)friends stay, always remind me if doing wrong, always support me, my rival in the rank in class, etc. Also we ever holiday together to kuching. and hopefully there will be other trips.

Now in this post, i will tell you all about food😋. Everyone loves to eat. And now, besides eating, we are also looking for a good place for take a pictures, unique, comfortable and cheap enough. Especially for women, who like to eat in a good place for take a pictures and also comfortable place for have a long chat with friends at the weekend and for hangout with friends.

so, in this post, i want to recommend a place to eat that is comfortable, tasty, have a spot to take pictures and cheap enough for collage students.the eat place called Gala & Dine.

Gala & dine located on Karya Baru street, shop number 1A. Gala & dine provided plenty of food and beverage menu. such as soto, fried rice, spaghetti, french fries, chicken pie, banana crispy, mushroom crispy, etc.Gala and dine have plenty of food. and i will discuss the fried rice. Gala & dine have chicken fried rice, apple fried rice, cheese fried rice, pineapple fried rice, and mix fried rice. What is chicken fried rice, apple fried rice, cheese fried rice, pineapple fried rice, and mix fried rice?

Chicken fried rice is fried rice mixed with chicken meat, cheese fried rice is a fried rice mixed with cheese, as well as apple fried rice and pineapple fried rice. mix fried rice is fried rice with mixed vegetables such as carrots, peas. and each fried rice added eggs fried. I really like the pineapple fried rice because the fusion of sweet pineapple taste and savory and salty from fried rice. Just very nice. And also the portion of fried rice very much and the price cheap.😋

Oh yeah, i almost forgot to tell you something. In gala&dine you also find free wifi. Usually we like to find a place with free wifi. But it would be nice if we were hanging out with friends, we do not hold gadgets. Because it's better to spend time talking to our friends. 1. Indonesia have 7 levels of Government there are Neighborhood association, Citizens Association, Chief of Village, Subdistrict , Mayor, Province , state.

2. We choose the special district of Yogyakarta because according to Indonesian Banks, the economic growth in Yogyakarta is 5% to 5,4%, so many investing in Yogyakarta. In addition, we choose Yogyakarta because :

⇰ Jogja People is humble and friendly.
⇰ Jogja is full of arts and culture. Jogya have tens of beaches, temples, caves, shoping areas, historical places, etc.
⇰Jogja also has ben identified as the city of students.
⇰Jogya is a comfy home for those with limited budget. You can eat well only with ten thousand rupiahs.

3. The Indonesian and U.S govermental systems are in principle equally presidential. But in Indonesia still open the opportunity for the separation of the region, Indinesia embraced the motion of guided democracy while the U.S embraced the notion of liberal democracy.

Welcome back to my blog

now i will tell you about my goals, dreams, or ambitions.

Everyone must have a dreams or a goals of each. And of course the dream is diferent each person. When we were kids, we already have dreams. For example want to be a doctor, teacher, police, soldier, artist, etc. But as adults grow, our dreams change.

I used to dream that i wanted to be a doctor, but i took a vocational school, soo.... i give up become a doctor anymore 😢. And i didn't know my dream hahaha   For now i have dreams and goals for several months to arrive at approximately the next 5 years.
My goals during college, can get GPA above 3, and also can follow the organization on collage and can manage time in doing task and relax. Because now i have many task to do and i can't rest well 😢 . And also my goals can be graduated with cum laude. I want to be proud of my parents.

Next goal, i want to be proud of my parents. and also, as a child surely have a dream in order to make his parents happy, neither do i. I want to make my parents happy by graduating cum laude, inviting parents to vocation together overseas and domestically. Even though we do little things like helping the parents at home, being polite to them, caring about them, etc , surely have made them happy. Because parents will be happy when they see their children grow well and succed. But surely we must also repay them for having raised us. Even without them asking. Because what they have spent for us, we certainly cann't redeem it. Because of their efforts, we can go to school well, live well, what we want to be fulfilled with them. So, make your parents happy and proud before they leave us forever. 😃

And also in the next 5 years i can holiday overseas and domestically with my family and friends. The places i want to visit are lombok, bali, korea, japan , china, bangkok, etc. But if we are going abroad vocation, we would be a lot of shopping . Especially when to korea, Japan and china. Because the goods in the country are cheap, cute and good. 

I also hope in the next 5 years, i can watch BTS concert in Indonesia or as well as abroad example Korea, Japan, China, etc. Because usually during a concert tour in Japan is very impressive, especially in their own country, Korea. But the lack is we cann't understand what they say. In addition to watching concert, i want to be able to collect their albums and official goods or their unofficial goods such as dolls, photobook, photo card from fansite. But the price also so expensive like official goods 😢.

So, i think that's all about my goals, dream, and ambitions that i can share with you all. See ya in next post 😃 . Byeeee....

Indonesia has many cities right? and every city has many interesting things right? such as places, food, music, dance, and others. Because i live in Pontianak, i will introduce Pontianak to you. I want to share you about place in Ponianak, according to me is nice and you can add a good insight on a place in the pontianak.

Now i will tell you about nice place in Pontianak, and event in Pontianak. If i only tell you through writing, maybe you will be hard imagine the place that i mean. So, i will tell you through pictures and writing. And i hope with this post, you are getting to know places in Pontianak.

❀ Digulis Park

     Location : Ahmad Yani Street, Pontianak

This is a park that is visited by many people of Pontianak. Why? Because this park provided by the government with various facilities available. Like a children's playground, jogging track, tennis courts, reading room, the skate park and bmx bike . In addition to these facilities, many people make the park as the object of the photographs or just for a walk to enjoy the beautiful flowers  or trees. Along the jogging track is also provided a lot of garbage bin, so the park remains clean and beautiful. And also, in the park there are many pigeons, so make us comfortable with the atmosphere in the park. For the parents who want to spend time with their children, can take them to the playground in this park, and also parents can picnic in this park and introduce children about nature, in the playground area, there is also have reading room.

Ini adalah taman yang banyak dikunjungi oleh masyarakat Pontianak. kenapa? Karena di taman ini di sediakan oleh pemerintah dengan berbagai fasilitas yang ada. Seperti tempat bermain anak, tempat untuk olahraga (lari atau jalan), tempat bermain tenis, ruang baca, tempat untuk bermain skateboard ataupun sepeda bmx. Selain fasilitas- fasilitas tersebut, banyak yang menjadikan taman digulis sebagai objek untuk foto-foto atau hanya untuk jalan-jalan menikmati bunga-bunga atau pohon- pohon yang asri. Disepanjang track jogging juga disediakan banyak tong sampah, sehingga taman tersebut tetap bersi dan asri. Dan juga di taman ini ada banyak burung merpati, sehingga membuat kita nyaman dengan suasana di taman ini. Untuk orang tua yang ingin menghabiskan waktunya dengan anaknya dapat membawa mereka ke taman bermain di taman ini, dan juga orang tua dapat piknik di taman ini dan mengenalkan anak tentang alam, di area taman bermain juga terdapat ruang baca.

Pontianak is known to have an equator monument. In addition to the equator monument, Pontianak also has a pointed bamboo statue. The monument is a 11 pointed bamboo, which characterizes 11 West Kalimantan fighters. Previously the color of this monument is red and white, but because of lack of care the color become faded and more like lipstick, then the monument is painted again with greenish yellow color. Pointed bamboo statue is taken as a symbolic form of struggle of the Indonesian Nation. The 11 prominent figures are Achmad Marzuki, Achmad Su'ud bin Bilal Achmad, Gusti Djohan Idrus, Gusti Hamzah, Gusti Moehammad Situt Machmud, Gusti Soeloeng Lelanang, Jeranding Sari Sawang Amasundin, Hj Rais bin H Abdurahman, Moehammad Hambal alias Bung Tambal, Moehammad SohordanYa' Moehammad Sabran, Gusti Djohan Idrus.

Pontianak di kenal memiliki tugu khatulistiwa. Selain Tugu Khatulistiwa, Pontianak juga memiliki tugu Digulis atau tugu bambu runcing. Monumen ini berbentuk 11 bambu runcing, yang mencirikan 11 tokoh pejuang Kalimantan Barat. Dulu warna tugu ini adalah merah putih, tetapi karena kurangnya perawatan sehingga warnanya menjadi luntur dan lebih mirip lipstik, maka tugu tersebut di cat kembali dengan warna kuning kehijauan. Bambu Runcing diambil sebagai bentuk simbolis perjuangan Bangsa Indonesia. Kesebelas tokoh pejuang tersebut adalah  Achmad Marzuki, Achmad Su'ud bin Bilal Achmad, Gusti Djohan Idrus, Gusti Hamzah, Gusti Moehammad Situt Machmud, Gusti Soeloeng Lelanang, Jeranding Sari Sawang Amasundin, Hj Rais bin H Abdurahman, Moehammad Hambal alias Bung Tambal, Moehammad SohordanYa' Moehammad Sabran, Gusti Djohan Idrus.

❀ Event : Basketball match (Honda DBL)

Location : Gor Pangsuma, Pontianak

Basketball match between students held every year is sponsored by Honda. This game is called Honda DBL( Development Basketball League). The first DBL game in Pontianak started in 2008. In addition to featuring basketball games among students, it also features an inter-school dance contest as well. And also in addition to supporting the school, the dance is also for the competition, and can win gold sponsored by UBS gold. From this match, we can ad friends from other schools. In this year, Honda DBL carry out the game in 25 cities of 22 provinces. And currently there is a DBL match in Gor Pangsuma. The match in Pontianak is currently starting on September 23 - 30, 2017.

Pertandingan basket antar pelajar yang rutin diadakan setiap tahun ini disponsori oleh Honda. Pertandingan ini dinamakan Honda DBL ( Development Basketball League). Pertama kali pertandingan DBL di Pontianak dimulai tahun 2008. Selain menampilkan pertandingan basket antar pelajar, juga menampilakn lomba tari antar sekolah juga. Dan juga selain untuk mendukung sekolah, tarian tersebut juga untuk kompetisi, dan dapat memenangkan emas yang disponsori UBS gold. Dari pertandingan ini, kita dapat menambah teman dari sekolah yang lainnya. Di tahun ini, Honda DBL melaksanakan pertandingan di 25 kota, 22 provinsi. Dan saat ini sedang berlangsungnya pertandingan DBL di Gor Pangsuma. Pertandingan di Pontianak saat ini di mulai pada tangan 23-30 September 2017.

✿ Kota baru's roundabout Monument

In the Kota baru's area Of Pontianak, there is a roundbout with a monument in the center. This Roundabout becomes an intersection between SutanvSyahrir street, Selayar Street, Widodo alley, Prof. HM. Yamin street, and dr, sutomo street. Administratively, it is located on the border between akcaya sub-district, South Pontianak Sub-district and sungai bangkong's sub- district, Pontianak city sub-district. Before the monument was built, the roundabout was just a regular roundabout with plants. Skeleton ball of iron showing the globe. PONTIANAK writing on the ball belt shows our city is on the equator line at the same time in the branching of the Kapuas river. While the number 171 is the birth year of Pontianak City. But unfortunately, the existence of monument is still less well known with the equator monument and digulis monument.

Di kawasan kota baru di Pontianak, terdapat sebuah bundaran dengan tugu di tengahnya. Bundaran ini menjadi persimpangan antara Jl. Sutan syahrir, Jl. Selayar, Gg. Widodo, Jl. Prof. HM. Yamin, dan Jl. Dr. Sutomo. Secara administratif, terletak di perbatasan antara kelurahan Akcaya, Kecamatan Pontianak Selatan dengan Kelurahan Sungai bangkong, Kecamatan Pontianak Kota. Sebelum dibangun tugu, bundaran tersebut hanyalah bundaran biasa dengan tanaman seadanya. kerangka bola dari besi menunjukkan bola dunia. Tulisan PONTIANAK pada sabuk bola tersebut menunjukkan kota kita berada di garis khatulistiwa sekaligus berada di percabangan sungai Kapuas. Sedangkan angka 1771 adalah tahun kelahiran Kota Pontianak. Namun sayangnya, keberadaan tugu tersebut masih kurang dikenal dengan Tugu Khatulistiwa dan monumen digulis.

hiiii^^... welcome to my blog. 

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Ervi Flyana. You can call me Ervi. when i was junior high school, my teacher called me Miss Fly because my last name "flyana" and my friend sometimes called me "miss Fly". I was born in Pontinak, August 12th 1999. Soo..., now i'm 18 years old. In our country Indonesia, our country, Indonesia , our age including adult. Due to the adult limit in our country is 18 years old,while in other country for example,  japan 20 years old , korea 19 years old. My dad has grocery store on sutoyo street and my mother is a house wife mother. I have one older brother, we have a 14 year age difference. I graduated from Immanuel Vocational High School . 

Now i continue my study Tanjungpura University(UNTAN).  I originally wanted to studied in Jakarta, but my parents didn't agree. Because i'm the youngest and woman. And then my parents really want me to enter the Tanjungpura University. I initially disagreed because i will be seperated from my friends, but now i start enjoying my lecture and start having friends. and i hope,can graduate cum laude. My plan after finishing study from Tanjungpura, work or open a new business, maybe can be an accountant.

My hobby is reading books especially reading novels and comics. when i was primary school, i liked collection or bought magazine like bobo,girls,etc. And when i was junior high school, i liked collection novels and comics. Even i have my own shelf for novels and comics. But now, i rarely buy novels. i will buy novel if, the story interesting or from my favorite writer. Beside reading books, i like listening music.

I like listen western music and korean songs. When i did homework, studied, i like while listening music. Because it make me passionate and not lonely.When i have free time i will watch korean drama or stalking about my favorite boyband, BTS. I really like BTS. BTS also known as Bangtan Boys or Beyond The Scenes, is a seven member south korea boyband. The First time i liked Kpop because Super Junior and sometimes i bought their DVD or CD. But overtime i became like BTS since their song entitled Fire. Initially I just want to know the song because the song is good in heard , but... the longer I was looking for their other music videos, songs,videos, history,I became their fans.And i hope can watch their concert and collect their albums. (when i can afford & have money hehehe...) .My other hobby are watching (movies, korean drama), hang out with my friends.

I think that's all about myself. Byee.....
